Spring Detox 2014

Standard

So, have you given it some thought?  It won’t be hard and it won’t cost you a fortune!
But, as with many things you will have to make a decision – live heathly and feel alive or continue the Status Quo!

So increase your water intake!
Decrease the amount of meat in your meals, aim for at least 2 meatless meals a day!
Walk, Walk, Walk!
Wean yourself off of junk food!

Monday  is the beginning of the Detox-if you own a juicer, great!  If not, not a problem you will just be eating more veggies-cooked and raw!
Get a rough wash cloth-for full body washing!
Sea salt or what ever you have in the kitchen!
Fresh veggies-organic if available-to include lemons!
Coconut oil
Cayenne pepper
Steel cut oats
Cranberries

So that you all know : I’m starting out at 77 kg!
I’m not detoxing to lose weight, but I know from the past that I will lose  “toxic weight”!
And unless you have recently undergone a colonoscopy you will too!

Remember:When life throws you a curve lean into it!
P.S. Today is a great Day!!

Spring Detox 2014

Standard

So, we are still in the pre-detox stage.
Water, Water, Water-I can not emphasise the importance of good fluids for our bodies. The water aids in the flushing out of toxins, it plumps our skin up (youthful looks) it helps our bodies work better.

One meatless meal a day for now-better yet try and make it two!

Moving-walking is one of the best things you can do for yourself-increases your heart rate, is easy on your joints and you can clear your mind!  My tip-pull your bellybutton towards the back of your spine while walking-you will be amazed at how quickly your tummy tightens up!

Mind-check your thoughts, are you overly critical? Do you find yourself getting bent out of shape because of little things?
Do you rerun bad episodes from your life over and over again? Are you in the “Oh woe is me” mode?  Now is the time to take a review and decide to take control of your emotions.

Remember: When life throws you a curve-Lean into it!

Trust

Standard

Trusting people is very difficult for me at is time in my life, truth is I have never easily trusted others!
People sometimes get so wrapped up in their own world and their need to be accepted, loved, admired , etc., that they forget how you begged them not to betray your trust! They forget that what you asked of them or told them was  between the two of you!
When they betray your trust it is out of very selfish reasons!
What they do not realize at that moment is that the hurt they are doing to you can not always be easily forgiven and in many cases never forgotten.
I find it extremely disturbing when family members or people that we deeply love, betray our trust!
Do I have an answer at this moment-NO!  But I’m sure that with prayers and contemplation I will be able to find a way to deal with betrayal without sacrificing my morals and principles !

And those of you “Who really know me”, you know that my blog and postings deal always with things that are of concern to me!

Remember, If life throws you a curve-lean into it!
